TAGAL started production of high-quality hot-dip galvanized steel sheet in Dalian in December, 2003.
The HDG line, build by international equipment suppliers, is one of the world's most advanced zinc coating facilities.

Products :   galvanized and galvannealed steel
Steel Grades :   CQ-DQ-EDDQ, HSS, BH, DP
Width :   800 -1880 mm
Thickness :   0.4 -2.5 mm
Coating Weight :   60 -350 g/m2 zinc (both sides)
Coil Weight :   5 -34 tons/coil
Surface treatment :   improvement of SKP and chemical coater

Due to the great success of TAGAL, Thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG and ANSTEEL decided to extend the capacity on the existing site in Dalian. The new high-tech line will cost 150 million USD, equally invested by both shareholders; the start of operation was on Dep. 4, 2008 with its first coil off-line.
